Are your bookshelves full and do you need to make some space for new books? The ABC Trade-In Day may be a perfect opportunity for you!
Bring us your unwanted books: we accept all genres of Fiction, including Science Fiction & Fantasy, Romance, Crime Fiction, and YA novels, and we also accept graphic novels. Please note that we do not accept non-fiction and children’s books!
We prefer mass-market paperbacks (pocketbooks) but we will also accept large paperbacks and hardcovers.
If any of your books do not meet the above criteria or are in very bad shape, you can either hold on to them, or you can leave them with us to be donated. All donated books will go to Better World Books.
Any unsold second-hand books are also shipped to this organization.
The number of customers wanting to sell us their second-hand books seems to be increasing and because we sell fewer books than we are offered, please be aware that we do not offer you a high price per book. Generally, we offer an average of about 50 cents per book.
By organizing the Trade-In Days, ABC provides our customers with an additional selection of low-priced books, as a service.
- – Depending on the possibility of resale, it is up to us to decide how much we will give you for your books. We retain the right to refuse books that we cannot sell.
- – You have the right to refuse or accept the offer made for your books. Only after your approval will the books be processed and the voucher made.
- – You will receive ABC Gift Certificates for your books, with which you can pay in all our stores. These are valid indefinitely.
- – Please note that we do not pay in cash.
- – Books of any category and in any language can be donated in our stores, 7 days a week, during opening hours.
