It’s the cold season, it’s comfy season, and it’s also gifting season! Why not gift the Romantasy lover in your life (which might be you yourself, but who’s going to stop you?) a beautiful deluxe edition that not only makes for great reading, but will also look pretty on their shelves? The Romantasy genre has really embraced the deluxe editions, and there are so, so many options. To help you in your search of the prettiest, most deluxe edition, we’ve made a few selections for you. First up are some paperback deluxe editions! When we think of a deluxe edition, we usually think “hardcover with sprayed edges”. But there are some great paperbacks with sprayed edges as well.
Psycho Shifters by Jasmine Mas
Jasmine Mas’ popular BookTok series is being re-issued, and this first book comes with with gorgeous stenciled edges and foil detail.
Throne in the Dark by A.K. Caggiano
This self-published series has also been picked up by a traditional publisher and is getting pretty new editions! This book comes with sprayed edges, an updated map an a spicy bonus chapter.
A Harvest of Hearts by Andrea Eames
We can all appreciate a paperback with something extra, and in this case the extra is stenciled edges, printed interior covers, soft touch and a spot gloss cover.
Romantasy is also a genre that has lots of Big Series. Some of them might be a bit older already, and all the books in the series are now being re-released in deluxe editions. An advantage here is that you’ll be set for gifting season for the next few years, as you can just gift the next book in the series when it comes out.

This is book 2.5 in the Crowns of Nyaxia series, but it can be read as a stand-alone. This International Sprayed Edge edition has some wonderfully moody sprayed edges.
