
Here we are, with a new year beginning again. Time to look back at 2025 and see what our customers’ preferred books were. It’s interesting to see certain titles pop up as bestsellers across all three stores, but also the different ones each of them favor. Location and customer base make a real difference. So whereas in Amsterdam the big hits from a variety of sections generally did best, you can see some political titles being favored in The Hague. In Leidschendam, the influence of a younger audience is clearly visible.
I Who Have Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman and Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins were the two titles that were the absolute bestsellers in Amsterdam, The Hague and Leidschendam.
Our BBDs – Blind Book Dates – are the uncontested bestsellers in Leidschendam, but they are also silent bestsellers in the other two stores.
