What are your top 3 favorite books or authors?
Michael Nava (gay crime), Stephen King, Agatha Christie
What is your favorite genre to read?
Crime, and Consciousness.
In which literary world would you like to live/go on vacation?
Any book in the tropics with a blue sea and palm trees, otherwise it will be Castle Rock for those who know were that is ;-)
What is your favorite bookish animal?
I have to say Cujo although this is a very bloody one.
Do you have any reading tips for our customers?
The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer (no music please)
The Shining by Stephen King (the Shining soundtrack, really scary music)
The Throat by Peter Straub (amazing thriller that works really well with the soundtrack of The Fog by John Carpenter)
What non-book item at ABC can you not pass by without looking at it?
Those 3D creative bookends (those little shops or rooms with light you put between your books in your bookcase).
Which book changed your (look on) life?
Murder on the Orient Express made me an avid reader at 15.
Paul Ferrini’s four Christ Mind books put me on my spiritual path.
What is your favorite part of being a bookseller?
Getting the customer the right book they didn’t even know they needed.
What’s your secret for choosing the books you buy for your sections?
Love, either mine, or the customer’s.
